BearHug My First ReadyBed®: Review

WA_du_Brighton_Product_Review-1200x900We invited parenting blogger Lauren from Belle du Brighton to test out our BearHug My First ReadyBed with her toddler Athena. Perfect for sleepovers with family or to take on holiday – our BearHug ReadyBed was put to the test!

When we opened the parcel that the ReadyBed arrived in I was impressed to see that it was all self-contained in a handy rucksack along with a foot pump.

I was dreading having to get it back in the bag after use but needn’t have worried as it just rolled up and went right back in without a fight! Athena loved wearing the backpack even though it was clearly too heavy for her, but the small size means it is so easy to pop in the car or even on your shoulder if using public transport, and it looks a lot more fun than a plain bag would!

The ReadyBed will be ideal for trips away from home, to grandparents & friends or even in hotels.

The move from travel cot to single bed like you get in hotels would be a bit much for many little ones! It would also be ideal for our camping trips too! We had the bed pumped up within 5 minutes using the pump, and as soon as she realised what it was Athena jumped right on the bed! Because the pillow end of the bed is the bears face it made it a lot more fun for her than if it was a plain old inflatable mattress!

We’ve promised her that we’ll be taking it with us on holiday in a couple of weeks so she’ll get to use it sooner rather than later again! I’m also really pleased that we won’t have to lug two travel cots with us when we go away, and am relieved that eventually when my newborn gets a bit bigger that he’ll be able to use a ReadyBed too so we’ll have more space in the car for other things!

Many thanks to Lauren from Belle du Brighton for sharing her thoughts on the BearHug My First ReadyBed, available from Amazon. Let us know on Facebook or Twitter if you are taking a ReadyBed on holiday with you this year!
